The results of the 2025 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examinations will be released next Wednesday, Jan 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

According to a joint press release by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB), students and private candidates will have several ways to receive their results and begin their next steps in education.

Collection of Results

School candidates can collect their results from their respective secondary schools starting from 2:00 PM on Jan 14. Students who are unwell or required to self-isolate should not return to school; instead, they may appoint a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results or check their results online via the SEAB Candidates Portal.

Private candidates will be notified of their results by post. Those with a Singpass account can also access their results online via the SEAB portal, similar to school candidates.

Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

The release of the O-Level results also marks the start of the 2026 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE). This exercise allows students to apply for admission to Junior Colleges (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), Polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

  • Registration Period: The JAE registration opens at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Jan 14, and closes at 4:00 PM on Monday, Jan 19.
  • How to Apply: Applicants should submit their course choices through the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) using their Singpass.
  • Posting Results: The results of the JAE application are tentatively scheduled for release on Feb 3, 2026, via SMS and the JAE-IS portal.

Guidance and Support

To assist students in making informed decisions about their post-secondary pathways, MOE provides various resources, including the "MySkillsFuture" portal. Students can also consult with Education and Career Guidance (ECG) counsellors in their schools or at the MOE ECG Centre to discuss their options based on their interests and results.
